Missions
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Business Developer is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building KATSU SAS's client base, and contributing to the firm's commercial expansion. He/she acts as a strategic link between market intelligence and concrete business outcomes.
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach. Build a robust pipeline of prospects aligned with KATSU SAS's service offerings.
- Client Acquisition: Lead initial client meetings, present KATSU SAS's value proposition, and convert prospects into clients. Develop tailored proposals in collaboration with consulting teams.
- Partnership Development: Identify and initiate strategic partnerships with relevant organizations, institutions, and industry players.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging client needs. Translate intelligence into actionable commercial opportunities.
- Commercial Negotiation: Lead negotiations and close deals in line with the firm's strategy, pricing, and quality standards.
- Reporting & CRM: Maintain accurate records of commercial activities and pipeline status. Produce regular activity reports for management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the consulting, operations, and marketing teams to align commercial efforts with delivery capacity.
Profile Sought
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac+3 / Bac+5) in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years in business development, sales, or a client-facing role — consulting or professional services preferred.
- Skills: Strong commercial instinct, excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, self-starter mindset, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Languages: French and English proficiency required.
